To amplify the launch of Trolli’s Weird Beard gummies—created in partnership with NBA star James Harden—an unexpected PR package was designed to match the brand’s delightfully offbeat tone. The interactive kit featured a custom beard-shaped basketball hoop, a mini Trolli basketball, and a wearable pink “weird beard,” all packaged alongside the star-shaped gummies themselves. Sent to influencers nationwide, the experience was crafted to drive social engagement, spark curiosity, and fuel earned media coverage. This playful, over-the-top unboxing moment embodied Trolli’s weirdly awesome brand personality while generating buzz for the new product.
