To boost awareness and membership for the Alliance Française in the Twin Cities, this print campaign brought French culture closer to home with a concept rooted in the idea of “Something French, Something Familiar.” Hand-drawn typography and custom copy paired iconic elements of French life with relatable Midwestern references—bridging cultures in a way that felt both sophisticated and welcoming. Inspired by the character of historic French cities, the lettering style carried a weathered, tactile quality that added authenticity and warmth. Strategically placed throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul, the campaign elevated the organization’s presence and supported its mission of promoting French language, Francophone culture, and international exchange.
